Frantoio Oleario Felice Bitetti from Ginosa has won the gold award in the category “Gourmet Oil” during the International contest “Le forme dell’olio”, together with other italian companies. The contest currently in its eighth edition and organized by Olio Officina is a unique three-day event dedicated to Italian excellences in the production of olive oil and celebrates the most innovative packaging and visual ideas. Frantoio Oleario Felice Bitetti was rewarded for its IGP Extravirgin olive oil label, very high quality oil made with a blend of oils from Coratina, Ogliraola e Frantoio olives.

The label created by the designer Maria Giannico is a fine embroidery that evokes the traditional illuminations of Apulia: rose windows, arabesque, pediments, lampstands and arches. A tangle of lights, patterns and colours. This artwork is a tribute to craftsmanship and to the age old tradition ketp by artisans from Apulia also know as “maestri paratori”. Illuminations of Apulia better known as luminarie: contemporary symbols the narrate our authentics and old roots.
